Captions for short video

00:00.00drawn live, the same way your captions are

Drop a clip in. The words come back timed to the frame, in seventeen styles and ninety-nine languages. Nothing uploads, nothing queues, and nothing you export comes back with a watermark on it.

Or try it without an account — caption a short clip first, sign in when you want the file.

No card needed. After 3 days it is $12 a month, and you can cancel in one click.

No upload. No queue. No watermark.

Most caption tools take your footage, put it in a line behind everyone else's, and mail it back with their name on it. This one just does the work where the video already is.

Nothing to upload

Your video never goes anywhere

No queue, no "processing…", no copy of your face sitting on a server you will never see. The render happens in this tab, on your machine, at the speed of your own laptop.

Every script, your way

Hinglish that stops changing its mind

Roman or Devanagari — you decide, once, and every clip matches. Arabic stays Arabic. Korean stays Korean. Or romanise any of the 99 languages if that is what your audience reads.

No watermark

Not on the trial. Not ever.

Not a small one in the corner, not a "remove for $9". No file this product has ever produced carried one. The preview is marked while you are signed out, and that mark is gone the moment you have an account — it has never been in an export and never will be.

No credits

Nothing is counting

No minutes to top up, no exports to ration, no balance quietly expiring at the end of the month. Caption one video or forty. There is no meter running.

“Most” is doing honest work in that middle column — a few other tools also render in the browser, and credit to them. The right-hand column is what this one does today, not a roadmap.

The same clip, twice

The right-hand side is not a picture of the product — it is the product, running. Pick a style and it renders through the same code that burns the captions into your file.

As filmed

Caption style

18 styles, and every one of them exports without a watermark.

With captions

Three steps, about a minute

1

Drop the clip in

MP4 or MOV, up to eight minutes. It stays on your machine the whole way through.

2

Choose how it looks

Seventeen styles, from a clean karaoke line to captions that sit behind you. The preview updates as you pick.

3

Export it clean

A finished MP4 with the captions burned in. No watermark, on any plan.

Your footage never leaves the room

Most caption tools want your video. They take it, queue it, render it on a machine you will never see, and mail it back. This one just does the work where the video already is — captions, animation and the finished MP4, all made by the browser you are reading this in.

One thing leaves: a few hundred kilobytes of compressed audio, so the words can be worked out. Not the picture, not the file, and nothing that is kept. Shoot something you would not put online and it is still only ever on your own machine.

Hinglish that stays in one script

Speech models switch between Devanagari and Roman depending on how much English happens to be in a clip. Same creator, same voice, captions that look like a different account every week. Pick the script once here and it holds — for Hinglish, and for every other language that has this problem.

The things worth asking first

Straight answers, including the parts that are a limitation rather than a feature. If something here is going to be a problem for you, better that you find out now than after paying.

Does my video get uploaded anywhere?
No. The captions are drawn and the MP4 is encoded on your own machine, in the tab — the video file itself never reaches a server. The one thing that does leave is the audio track, which goes to Groq to be turned into timed words. We do not store it, and the video, the part with your face in it, stays where it is.
What if it gets a word wrong?
Fix it in the transcript. Every word is editable and keeps its own timing, so a name, a bit of slang or a technical term is a few keystrokes rather than a re-run. Nothing re-uploads, and corrections do not cost another credit — you pay once to transcribe a video and can re-cut and re-export it as often as you like.
Will it run on my computer?
It needs Chrome, Edge, or a recent Safari, because exporting uses WebCodecs and older browsers do not have it. And since the render happens on your machine instead of in a queue somewhere, the speed follows your hardware — a fast laptop finishes quickly, an old one takes its time. The free trial is there so you can find out on your own footage before paying for anything.
What happens when the 3 days are up?
Nothing you have to undo. Starting the trial takes no card, so there is no charge to forget about and no subscription quietly running — the editor simply asks you to pick a plan the next time you want to caption something.
Do I have to subscribe?
No. $5 buys 10 videos that do not expire, which suits most people who post every so often. $12 a month is for people captioning constantly. One credit covers transcribing one video; editing and exporting it are free on either.
How do I cancel, and can I get a refund?
Cancel with the Manage button in the editor header, whenever you like and without giving a reason, and you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for. If you are within seven days of a charge, email and it is refunded in full — no form, no questions.
