Keeping captions out of the way
TikTok stacks the username, description and music ticker across the bottom, and the profile, like, comment, bookmark and share icons down the right. The description can push upward when it is long, so leaving the bottom quarter clear is safer than the bottom fifth.

TikTok re-encodes every upload, so thin or low-contrast text can soften. Heavier styles with a black outline survive it far better, which is why every style here carries a stroke by default.
