Keeping captions out of the way
Instagram lays your username, the caption text and the audio strip across roughly the bottom fifth of the frame, and stacks like, comment and share buttons down the right-hand edge. Anything you burn in below about 80% of the height, or within 15% of the right edge, risks being covered.
Why burn them in
